Book Review: The Splendour Falls by Susanna Kearsley
Let me start by saying that I love Susanna Kearsley. She is my favorite author by far. This book didn't follow her normal format. It didn't have the dual timeline like she normally does, and there wasn't really a love interest until three quarters of the way through the book. Not that I expect there to be a love interest, but it didn't follow the normal format.
This book was more of a mystery than her regular novels. It was not my favorite book, but it was very endearing. The way that Susanna writes is so descriptive that it makes you fall in love with the setting of the books, and the characters!
This book was placed in Chinon, France. This is the second book of hers that I have read that has been set here. It has made me crave to visit there. She has made me feel like I have already been there.
All in all it is a decent book. Not my favorite by far, but decent. This would not be a book I would recommend to someone unless they love Susanna Kearsley already.
Two ways to remove your Jamberry Nail wraps
It is really important to remove your wraps properly. DO NOT EVER just peel them off! You will damage your nails. I decided to record a video showing my two favorite methods of removing the wraps, so check it out!
Also, today is an exciting day! We have another Muddy Girl Camo wrap available! I have a bulk order going in on the 31st. If you want free shipping let me know what you would like to order, and I will send you an invoice! Check out all our wraps at melodypharmon.jamberrynails.net
Review on Covergirl Super Size Me Mascara and Intensify Me Eyeliner
I am a little late getting this review up. I was given the Covergirl Super Sizer mascara and Intensify Me liquid liner to review.
Here I am with one side with Younique's 3D Fiberlash mascara, and one side with Super Size Me. Can you tell which is which?

Perfectly Posh: Lil Snarky hand creme
I was given this sample from Chrissy Poust at Perfectly Posh. I love Perfectly Posh. It's a paraben free company, and their stuff is amazing!
This hand creme works really well! It makes your skin feel like silk. It has a very nice scent as well. It used apricot, and I am assuming that's what the main scent is (although I would have guessed rose). I am not a person that wears a lot of scented things, so the scent was a bit much for me. However, it is very nice.

Book Review: A Desperate Fortune
Susanna Kearsley is one of my all time favorite authors! I was able to meet her shortly after this book came out. She is as wonderful in person as her writing is.
This book follows the traditional style of Kearsley's featuring a dual timeline plot. Her writing is extremely descriptive in a way that makes the reader feel like they are there. However, this book was a bit different. This book featured a main character with Aspergers.
I loved that she tied in something that is considered a disability in most people's eyes, and made it a strength in this book. It showed how those with Aspergers think differently, and are very gifted in some areas.
All in all it was a very sweet book. I loved the dual timeline, and I feel in love with the characters. So much so that when it ended I couldn't decide if I liked the ending. I just wanted to book to continue.
I really feel like Kearsley out did herself with this book.

Cutex One-step Pads
In my Target Beauty Box this month I received the Cutex One-step pad advanced revival nail polish remover. It just so happened that I had worn lacquer this week in addition to my Jamberry wraps, and it needed to be removed today.
I love the idea of polish remover on the go! I am the type that if my polish begins to chip, I will pick at it or bite my nails. So having these is handy to have in a purse!
I was pleasently surprised that these did not dry out my nails like some polish remover. In fact it made them feel softer after I used them.
The felt that they are made of makes for simple removal of regular lacquers. Two nails on each hand had a glitter top coat on them. They required me to add acetone to the pad in order to remove the glitter.
Overeall I was happy with this product, and would consider re-buying them. I do not recommend them on any polish with glitter.
